Strangeways, Here We Come

Released in September 1987, Strangeways, Here We Come was The Smiths' final studio album.
The album has 10 songs for a runtime of ~36 minutes.

My Thoughts

Just like every other album by The Smiths, Strangeways has that signature guitar from Marr and the compelling lyricism from Morrisey. Here, it all blends together to make the perfect finale.

I find it a tad unfortunate that this was their last album as a group, although all things considered I don't think they could've ended on a better note; I just would've liked to have seen this sound carried fowards!

It's incredibly fun and, to use a word that I'm not sure is a word, jiggy! I get why Morrisey used to sort of wiggle about during their live performances; you can't help it. It's also got some of their better lyricism (trust me some of it is still a bit bleh).
